is a professional general practice law firm focusing on Family Law, Real Estate, Estate Planning, other areas of civil litigation, and minor criminal law (Traffic/DUI) located in West Dundee, Illinois.
We are looking for an entry level Associate Attorney and offer mentorship and upward mobility for the right person.
This position's primary focus will be to provide legal services to our clients both in and out of Court.
The person applying for this position must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials, have a high attention to detail, and be able to deal effectively with extensive client, attorney, and court contacts, all while maintaining strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.
The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases and transactional matters, resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients by developing agreements, negotiating contacts, setting claims and advocating for clients in court, transactional assignments, and estate planning.
This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients.
Said candidate will possess an Illinois license to practice law and be a graduate of an accredited law school.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Duties:
Greet and consult clients in a kind and professional manner Provide professional telephone and written communications Advocate on behalf of clients in court proceedings Prepare and maintain accurate client records and files Maintain and practice proper time management skills Process Court Orders according to practice procedures Assist in preparing and maintaining Legal Documents Assist in legal billing Assist in keeping practice facilities neat and orderly.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Legal experience preferred Strong organization, writing, and communication skills Microsoft Office experience required Team players only Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently within deadlines Possess strong work ethic with attention to accuracy and detail Ability to take direction and work in a professional manner with other members of the team Spanish speaking preferred, but not required Experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation preferred, but not required Experience in Real Estate preferred, but not required Experience is preferred, but will be happy to train and develop the right candidate regardless of experience.
